1909 Copyright Act, Section 18 - Making false affidavit

Any person who, for the purpose of obtaining registration of a claim tocopyright, shall knowingly make a false affidavit as to his having complied with the aboveconditions shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall bepunished by a fine of not more than $1,000, and all of his rights and privileges undersaid copyright shall thereafter be forfeited.
