5:00-6:00pm:  Ethics & Courtroom Decorum Lecture/Demonstration
Lecture covers the do's and don't of courtroom etiquette. (There is no workshop for this lecture).
6:15-8:30pm: Voir Dire Lecture/Demonstration
Lecture/demonstration addresses the art of picking a jury.  Learn how to profile perspective jurors, how to determine who you want and who you don't want on your jury.

Students conduct a jury selection.

Thursday, 10/03/02

5:00-8:00pm: Opening Statement Lecture/Demonstration
Students learn the importance of the first impression, as well as Opening Statement do's and don'ts.

Wednesday, 10/09/02

5:00pm-8:00pm:  Opening Statement Workshop
Workshop pairs students as defendant and plaintiff based on factual scenarios.

Thursday, 10/10/02

5:00-6:30pm: Direct Examination Lecture/Demonstration
Lecture/demonstration defines "Direct Examination" its uses and purpose, as well as how to prepare yourself and your client.
6:45-8:30pm:  Cross Examination Lecture/Demonstration
Lecture/demonstration defines "Cross Examination" its uses and the differences between it and "Direct Examination".  Students learn how to prepare their witnesses.

Tuesday, 10/15/02

5:00-8:00pm:  Direct and Cross Examination Workshop
Students conduct mock Direct Examinations and Cross Examinations and are critiqued by participating judges.

Wednesday, 10/16/02

5:00-8:00pm:  Closing Argument Lecture/Demonstration
Those final remarks can make or break a case.  Students learn the importance of the final impression, as well as Closing Arguments do's and don'ts.

Students conduct opening and closing arguments.
